Pioneering packaging
We have set new technical/environmental packaging material standards with VacPac™ for low hydrogen/energy conservation and MARATHON PAC™ for improved feedability and simplified recycling.

Phasing out unwanted substances
ESAB supplies a wide range of copper-free rods and wires, which deliver improved welding properties as well as better working conditions with reduced environmental impact.

Friction stir welding
Friction stir welding uses high pressure and friction heat to amalgamate materials without the need for filler metals or shielding gases. The process requires very little preparation or quality control and there are potential applications for several types of materials everywhere.

Resource efficiency
The ESAB global Application and Process Support Network focuses on helping customers to optimize their welding quality and efficiency. The new Tandem MAG and multi-wire SAW processes are two recent examples of production optimization.
